Rinspeed launches car-themed art collection
This may be the most natural progression from the car world to art: Rinspeed, the master of the offbeat concept, is launching an auto-themed collection of contemporary prints.

The art is based on the company’s head-turning concept cars. There are five collections, with artwork created from the iChange, the sQuba, the eXasis, the zaZen and the Bedouin concepts. There also is art derived from the E2 Fiat 500 concept by Rinspeed, and a section devoted to Futurism.

The designs are done on canvas, art paper and Plexiglass and are available in different sizes. They come in open, limited-edition and unique versions and get a water-marked certificate of authenticity.

Rinspeed has been a staple of the Geneva motor show since 1979, when it showed a Volkswagen Golf Turbo. It’s known for producing unusual, thought-provoking concepts. This year it showed the iChange, a teardrop-shaped concept with no doors.
