Infiniti will add a convertible to the lineup of its G series for the 2009 model year, joining the G37 sedan and coupe.
The G37 convertible has a folding hardtop that stows behind the rear seat. Infiniti released a picture of the car on Saturday during activities for the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance.
Infiniti will roll out the car at the Los Angeles auto show in November.
Nissan design chief Shiro Nakamura noted that the rear track of the G37 was widened slightly for the convertible, so that the folded top would stow far enough into the car to create a sleek silhouette.
