In the meantime, the folks at McLaren have launched a series of videos that show the development of the car. The first video in the series was released Friday.

The first video includes clips of prototypes being tested on tracks such as the Nürburgring in Germany and in hot weather in Bahrain.

It includes comments from McLaren chief test driver Chris Goodwin and technical director Dick Glover.
