Simultaneous Air/Fuel ratio and spark advance control with the purpose of optimizing emission and performance characteristics in SI engine.
Completed Projects
Spark advance (SA) and A/F ratio play an important role in SI engine performance and emissions characteristics. In this project, a computer code oriented to SI engine simulation is presented in Matlab environment that is used as a virtual engine simulator, and a suitable control algorithm is developed in order to reduce engine emissions and improve engine performance, this algorithm tested on the engine simulator.
